The sensitivity of a pacemaker to magnetic fields depends on both the strength of the magnetic field and the rate of change. Generally, magnetic fields ranging from a few gauss to several thousand gauss can potentially interfere with pacemakers. Our magnetic pin and clip generate magnetic fields up to 2100 gauss.
*For users with pacemakers, we advise against wearing the Plaud NotePin S on the chest area (whether with the lanyard, magnetic pin, or clip) due to its magnetic properties.
