Before use, please insert the microSD card into the microSD card slot of the FlashTransfer Companion.
Connecting to the camera
When connected to a camera, the microSD card in the FlashTransfer companion will be used as the default storage card to directly store videos and photos.

Access to mobile phones and tablets
2. Open your phone or tablet, connect to the Flash Mate, and open the Insta360 App. iOS system: You can directly view and edit videos and photos in the Flash Mate. Android system: On the Insta360 App, click Settings > Flash Mate Settings > Select Directory > Use This Folder. (Some phones require you to first click the upper left corner, select the corresponding disk, and then select Use This Folder) to view and edit videos and photos.
Connect to computer
1. Even if there is a memory card in the camera, the data will be stored in the microSD card of the FlashTransfer Companion after connecting it.
2. If you remove the Flash Transmitter before shooting is completed, the data will not be stored in the Flash Transmitter.
3. During intense exercise, the Flash Transmitter may fall off. Please use it with caution.
4. Some mobile phones and tablets need to turn on the OTG switch in their settings, such as OPPO phones.
5. Currently, iPhone 15 series and iPad with Type-C port cannot view or edit photos and videos in Flash Transfer Companion through Insta360 App. You can use the "Files" app on iOS to view flat videos and photos, but it does not support panoramic videos and photos.
6. Mobile phones that do not support exFAT cannot read files, such as Google Pixel series phones.
7. To ensure good contact between the FlashTrans USB Type-C plug and the device, please remove the protective case of your Android phone or tablet when using it.

Instructions

Connecting to the camera
When connected to a camera, the microSD card in the FlashTransfer companion will be used as the default storage card to directly store videos and photos.
1. Turn on the camera, remove the camera cover, and insert the Flash Companion into the camera's USB port. The camera interface prompts "Restart to use Flash Companion", click √, the camera will restart and switch to Flash Companion mode. (You can also click Settings > USB Mode on the camera and select Flash Companion mode.)
2. After finishing shooting, remove the Flash Transmitter and insert it back into the camera holder.
Access to mobile phones and tablets
When connected to a mobile phone or tablet, you can directly play and edit videos and photos on the microSD card in the Insta360 App.
1. Download the "nsta360" App on your phone or tablet.
2. Open your phone or tablet, connect to the Flash Mate, and open the Insta360 App. iOS system: You can directly view and edit videos and photos in the Flash Mate. Android system: On the Insta360 App, click Settings > Flash Mate Settings > Select Directory > Use This Folder.
