HOLLYLAND Pyro S is a revolutionary new product in the Hollyland Pyro series that redefines wireless video transmission technology. Pyro S supports HDMI and SDI input/output, and can transmit image signals to up to four receivers at the same time, with a transmission range of up to 1,300 feet (400 meters) and a latency of only 50 milliseconds. Pyro S uses advanced automatic dual-frequency hopping (ADH) technology to ensure transmission stability and provides selectable modes to meet actual shooting needs. Compared with traditional products, Pyro S is lighter and more durable, and its magnesium-aluminum alloy shell makes it easier to carry and operate. This product is ideal for multi-user monitoring needs in dynamic shooting scenarios, such as filmmaking, live events, and ENG/EFP applications.
1.1 Four receivers, no problem
Pyro S's WifiBroadcast technology allows one transmitter to stably connect to four receivers, providing more flexibility when more monitoring is required on site.
- When Broadcast Mode is enabled, the transmitter can transmit to up to four receivers simultaneously. When Broadcast Mode is disabled, the transmitter can transmit to up to two receivers and two mobile devices.
1.2 Faster, farther, stronger
With its proprietary 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band technology, Pyro S has a stable transmission range of up to 1,300 feet (400 meters). Thanks to an upgraded chip and optimized video codec algorithm, Pyro S's transmission delay is reduced to just 50 milliseconds.
Double the improvement : from latency to long-distance stability Compared to traditional video transmission systems, Pyro S can maintain image quality while increasing transmission distance and minimizing latency.
You can choose from the following two modes based on your application requirements:
- Smooth Mode : In this mode, the bit rate is dynamically adjusted to achieve the lowest latency of 50 milliseconds for ultra-long distance transmission.
- HD Mode : Optimized for image quality. HD mode maintains a constant bit rate (8-12 Mbps) at a range of 1,300 feet (400 meters) for clear viewing.
- Transmission range is LOS (line of sight) based on laboratory testing without interference.
- When broadcast mode is enabled, the LOS range is up to 650 feet (200 meters). When broadcast mode is disabled, the LOS range is up to 1,300 feet (400 meters).
1.3 Automatic Dual Frequency Hopping (ADH)
Pyro S uses Automatic Dual Band Hopping (ADH) technology, supports dual-band operation at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, and has an intelligent automatic frequency hopping function that can automatically select the clearest channel to ensure stable wireless video transmission.
2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual band
Pyro S provides a dual-band transmission solution that effectively solves common problems such as signal interference, low transmission efficiency and frequency band congestion. Its omnidirectional gain antenna ensures stable signals all around, improving signal transmission performance and efficiency. When using Pyro S, you no longer have to worry about video signal interruption.
Automatic frequency hopping
Pyro S is equipped with automatic frequency hopping technology, which continuously scans and monitors the signal strength and interference of each frequency band, and selects the best wireless channel to improve the stability of the connection.
1.4 HDMI and SDI input/output
The Pyro S is the perfect solution for professional shoots and small commercial projects. The transmitter features one HDMI input and one SDI input, while the receiver offers one SDI output and one HDMI output.
1.5 4K, clear and sharp
Pyro S supports 4K/30fps image transmission, presenting excellent image clarity, detail and realism, suitable for professional applications such as filming.
1.6.1 UVC Streaming
UVC technology makes Pyro S seamlessly compatible with a variety of devices (such as computers), without the need for additional capture cards or software installation. This plug-and-play feature simplifies setup and operation, allowing users to easily use it in a variety of scenarios (such as live broadcasting and video conferencing).
1.6.2 RTMP Streaming
Through RTMP (Real Time Messaging Protocol), you can easily stream your video to popular live broadcast or conference platforms such as Zoom, YouTube Live, Twitch, TikTok Live, etc. by simply entering your wireless key and connecting to the wireless network card, providing you with a simple and convenient live broadcast experience.
1.7.1 Smart Channel Scan
Once powered on, Pyro S automatically selects high-quality channels to optimize the user experience. In addition, users can enable the Smart Channel Scan feature on the receiver to view real-time channel status feedback to ensure a stable and reliable connection.

Pyro S supports preset grouping and pairing, eliminating the need for users to repeatedly manually set up transmitters and receivers, saving time and improving work efficiency on the set.
1.8 Lighter, stronger, more solid: Pyro S magnesium-aluminum alloy housing
The Pyro S's casing is made of aerospace-grade magnesium-aluminum alloy, which is stronger and more rigid than an all-aluminum casing, and is 30% lighter and has better heat dissipation.
1.9 Efficient cooling system
Pyro S is equipped with a three-speed fan adjustment function (auto, low speed, off). This cooling system helps regulate the temperature of the device, prevents overheating, and ensures stable signal transmission.
