Precautions
- CAUTION: Failure to follow instructions may result in property damage and/or injury to the user.
- Do not immerse the charging case in water or allow it to come into contact with water. This applies to both the outside and inside of the charging case. Note: Batteries may decompose in contact with water, causing spontaneous combustion.
- If the charging case falls into water, pick it up immediately and place it in a safe area until it dries. Do not use the charging case again. Dispose of it in accordance with environmental regulations.
- The use of unofficial charging cases is not recommended. Insta360 is not responsible for any battery or device failure caused by the use of unofficial charging cases.
- Do not use or store the charging case in extremely hot environments. The ideal storage temperature is 14°F to 95°F (-10°C to 35°C) with a relative humidity of less than 75%.
- Do not use the charging case if the built-in battery is swollen, leaking, or damaged. Do not use the charging case if it appears normal but emits an odor and/or changes color. If your charging case behaves abnormally, please contact Insta360 for assistance.
- Do not use the charging case in places with strong static electricity or strong magnetic fields, otherwise the protective plate of the built-in battery may be damaged.
- Do not disassemble or puncture the charging case as this may cause battery leakage, which may lead to corrosion, fire or even explosion.
- If the electrolyte inside the battery leaks and contacts your skin or eyes, rinse with cold water for 15 minutes and then seek medical attention.
- Do not throw, roll, hit your charging case hard, or place it under heavy objects.
- Stop using the charging case if it is dropped or subjected to a strong impact.
- Do not heat the charging case.
- Do not connect the charging case to wires or other metal objects that may short-circuit the battery terminals.
- If there is dirt, dust or other particles on the connection of the charging case, please remove them with a clean, dry cloth, otherwise the battery will have poor contact, resulting in energy loss and charging failure. Do not use alcohol or other flammable liquids to clean.
- Keep the charging box away from flammable materials and monitor the charging process to ensure safety. Disconnect the charging box from the power source when not in use.
- The battery will be very hot after use. Please wait until the battery returns to room temperature before charging to ensure that the battery does not overheat, otherwise it may cause battery leakage, swelling and/or other damage.
- Before using the charging box, make sure the charging box and interface are not damaged. If damaged, do not use the charging box.
- Keep the charging case out of the reach of children and pets.
- Do not store the charging case for more than three months after the battery is fully discharged, otherwise the battery may rot and be irreversibly damaged.
